Hi there, intrepid internet denizen. My name is Kate Windheuser, otherwise known as Kate Kaos, a moniker I have gone by for approximately 20 years, both on and offline. Probably because my actual last name is overly lengthy and hard for people to figure out how to pronounce.
Hence, the site name, which is something of a reference to the Lars Von Trier film Antichrist, specifically the above scene.
The first time I saw that movie I think I replayed this scene like 5 times in a row because it was such a weirdly funny bit to me in the middle of a movie that is otherwise VERY unfunny.
Anyway, in case you don’t know me and just ended up here somehow, I live in Denver, I work from home at a tech job, I have a boyfriend, Patrick, and a stereotypically braincell-lacking orange cat named Robin. I am a lover of cult and horror cinema, weird electronic music, esoteric stuff, cats, food, and obtaining entirely too many impractical musical instruments.

I’ve started this because I wanted a place to do stuff on the internet that wasn’t owned by some billionaire and am planning to delete my mainstream social media profiles soon. This should actually be a little more fun (and my mom won’t be notified every time I make an enthusiastic post about a movie she absolutely does not care about and would hate).
